Professional Christ Centered Counseling for the women and their children. Individual for the women as well as family work. Oftentimes single mothers are confused about establishing proper authority in their homes due to lack of knowledge as well as sympathy for their children in the loss of the foundation of a marriage. Some of these families believe they are no longer a family due to the absence of a father. Help is needed to work through the stages of grief and arriving at “acceptance” of what has been. Then a vision of the family stepping into a new chapter filled with Hope for the future begins.

Legal Counsel regarding custody and child support. Many of these women have sought legal counsel but do not qualify for aid; but also lack finances to hire an attorney. Lacking resources as well as being confused regarding what is biblical, they take no steps which enables the father from being responsible in the care of the children. Some of the ladies have taken out credit cards over the years to pay for legal fees and have found themselves in a continuous escalating trap of debt.

Financial assistance for housing, etc., Western North Carolina has some wonderful agencies that help with emergency assistance once a year. Many single mothers need monthly financial help for a season of their journey with their children in order to alleviate the stress of continually putting out fires and breaking free of tethers.

Financial Budgeting – Many single parents have never learned the freedom which comes from living within the parameters of a budget. Those who are accepted to be helped by the foundation will agree to be accountable to a financial advisor.

Restorative Retreats- When single mothers have an opportunity to spend a concentrated weekend with other women who are also on the same journey. Cell phones are off and time spent in the Word of God and prayer. Time being separate and still for an hour or so to hear the voice of God. Hearts begin to mend. These intensive weekends mark the beginning of healing with the women leaving with a vision of continued restoration each step they take forward walking in the yoke of Jesus.
